Harmonic Disturbance: What's a blog?

Well, I guess I'm figuring out just what one is now.

To me the word blog always and still does sound like something you have removed from your lower intestine.

".....5, 6, 7, 8....."

To me, growing up there were 5 major food groups:
Dairy, Meat, Fruits & Vegetables, Wheats and grains, & TV.

At 5 years old, I just would not, could not go to bed unless I saw "Berne and Shurley"! Then there was that one night where the President had to pre-empt my favorite show,,,Mom says she can still hear me crying to this day,,,

Which was only fitting that 20 years later, my five year old son howled one night at the thought of having to take a bath, "But,,,but,,,I'm gonna miss I Love Lucy!"
He did have a point,,,I mean it was the job switching episode where our favorite redhead and Ethel worked at the Candy Factory.... And to me, when I was younger, Lucy stole the show everytime,,, The trying to kill the fly by smacking chocolate on the worker's face,,,,the stuffing her shirt with chocolates,,,etc. But as I got older, Fred and Ricky now steal that episode! Are you kidding?

Ricky: Hey Fred, do you know anything about rice?
Fred: Well, I know I had it thrown at me on one of the darkest
days of my life!

And the seven layer cake he makes?
Ricky: That's great Fred, but where are the other 6 layers?
Fred: Ricky, those are 7 layers.
Ricky: Ok, well, tha's alright,,,we can just pile on a lotta
frosting.
Fred: WHat do you mean?! The frosting's already in it!

So , ok,,,,the bath waited. Letting the cold water out and refilling the tub was no biggie at all. Because being able to share that 30 minutes with Fred, Ethel, Ricky, Lucy, the 10 pounds of rice Ricky made, and my son was 30 minutes, I got to cherish,,,,and still do.

Below you'll find TV themes through the years that, some, were actually pretty good tunes by themselves. (Still pissed though, that I couldn't get a hold of the "Night Court" theme)

Oh, and fortunately, or unfortunately, pending on how you look at it, TV, is still one of our Major food groups,,,,
